George received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The University of Virginia with high honors. Prior to joining WestEnd, George opened Alex Brown’s West Coast branch in 1986, where he served in a variety of roles from principal to managing director. With more than seven years of investment experience in his background, George has more than doubled WestEnd’s assets under management.

Sean received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Loyola University where he was a member of the Phi Kappa Alpha Honor Society. He has also completed graduate business courses at the University of San Francisco. Formerly a Senior Financial Consultant at Wells Fargo Bank, Sean also served at Sterling Bank & Trust, Morgan Stanley/ Dean Witter, Franklin Templeton and Lehrer Management Company, where he was awarded NASD Series 6, 7, 24, 65 and 31 security licenses. One of WestEnd’s original founders, Sean applies his experience to meeting our clients’ needs for outstanding portfolio and wealth management.

Gus received his Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from California State University, Northridge in 1975. He is a certified financial planner (CFP), chartered financial consultant (ChFC) and chartered life underwriter (CLU) and has 27 years of experience in providing financial planning services. He is one of the original founders of WestEnd. Gus assists our clients in coordinating comprehensive financial planning (i.e. estate planning, risk management, retirement planning, investment planning and tax planning) with the management of their assets. His service is provided at no additional charge to call clients who request it.

George brings over 15 years of marketing and business development experience to Westend Capital Management. Prior to joining Westend he has served in a variety of marketing and business development roles at Gemini Consulting (serving the Fortune 100), Compaq Computer Corporation, Vignette Corporation, Door Number 3 Advertising and TBridge Ventures, Inc. George also has the distinct advantage of being a Westend client since 2004 and having been a client of George Bolton’s since 1997. George has a BA degree in Political Science from Middlebury College and an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia.
