    Charles Schwab Platform

    As your account custodian, Schwab provides tools to manage your accounts directly. Through Schwab.com or the Schwab mobile app, you can:

    • Update personal information (address, phone, email)

    • Link or change a bank account for faster money transfers

    • Add or update beneficiaries and Trusted Contacts

    • Access historical statements and tax documents

    Schwab is ideal for handling administrative and operational needs related to your investment accounts.

    Client Portal (Black Diamond)

    Our Client Portal is your personalized financial dashboard—designed to give you a comprehensive view of your wealth. Within the portal, you can:

    • See performance reporting across all accounts

    • Link outside investment accounts for a full financial picture

    • Access customized reports and shared documents

    • Upload or download files through a secure document vault

    This portal is especially helpful when engaging in financial planning or tax discussions, since it brings all of your financial data into one clear, actionable view.

  • Have your Schwab account number & your mobile phone handy, then follow the steps to create your Schwab Log In.

    As an industry leader in security, Schawb requires Multi-Factor Authentication as part of account access. You can use your mobile phone, email, or download the Schwab Mobile App from the App Store or Google Play to enable push notifications for access.

    Trouble logging in?

    Schwab exclusively manages their technology. If you need help with a username or password, use the Forgot Login ID or Forgot Password links at the log in screen.

  • Here’s a helpful Quick Start Guide to help you through activation: ⚡Client Portal - Quick Start

    Clients will be invited to activate their client portal when their accounts are funded:

    1. You will receive an email titled “Welcome to WestEnd’s Personal Financial Portal”.

      This email will be “from” info@wcmsf.com and a “no reply” email address of noreply@bdreporting.com.

      Included in this email is a link* to set up your account. Please click on the “Set Up Account” button to proceed.

      *For security purposes, your set up link will expire after 7 calendar days. 

    2. First you will be prompted to set security questions. It is required you choose a security question from the preexisting lists and set up all three questions.

      To continue, click “Next.”

    3. Next you will need to set a secure password. Please enter a chosen password in the first form field. Then re-type your password in the second form field under “Confirm Password.” If your password meets security requirements and matches between the two form fields, you may then click “Next.”

    4. The final step is to read through and accept the “Application Terms of Use.” After accepting, you will be automatically directed to your personalized client portal!

      At this time, you will also receive a second email letting you know your password has been updated. This email will once again come “from” our firm and a “no reply” email address of noreply@bdreporting.com.

  • Schwab’s technology allows clients to update their own information, such as email, phone, address, Trusted Contacts, Beneficiaries, and Bank Links, all through Schwab Alliance.

    Log in and navigate to your Profile at the top right corner. In the submenu, you’ll see all the topics you’re able to customize. If you have any questions, please contact our team for assistance.

  • You can name up to 10 primary and 10 contingent (backup) beneficiaries on each account. The online Schwab Service Guide* can help guide you through making changes to your account(s). *log in required

  • A trusted contact is a person or persons you authorize Schwab to contact on your behalf if account activity raises concerns such as potential financial exploitation, or if we have problems reaching you or communicating with you about your account.

    What Is a Trusted Contact Authorized to Do?

    Your trusted contact can confirm current contact information, health status, or contact information for other authorized parties associated with the account.

    Your trusted contact is not authorized to act on your behalf, make transactions, or take other actions on your account.

  • After logging in to your Personal Financial Portal, a red alert bell at the top right of your Home Page indicates a new report. Click the bell to go directly to the latest report in your Vault.

    What is the Vault?
    The Vault is a secure space for storing and sharing important financial and legal documents. You can:

    • Organize files into folders

    • Drag and drop to upload documents

    • Move files easily between folders

    • Access shared documents from your advisory team

    • View investment reports in the Statements and Reports folders
